Full-Time Membership Coordinator

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with experience in consultative sales.  Must be outgoing, have an entrepreneurial mindset and love helping people achieve their goals. Experience in the health club industry and a passion for fitness is a plus. Applicant must have flexiblility to work evenings and weekends on a part-time/on call basis. 




Fitness Consultant

Now Hiring Fitness Consultant - looking for an outgoing person to work with integrating new members into our amazing club and personal training program.  Sales experience required.  Fitness experience and certifications preferred.  Morning, Evenings and Weekend availability a must. 

Fitness Floor Staff / Fit Squad 

We are looking for an energetic, people-person, with a passion for fitness.  Responsibilities include engaging our members on the fitness floor and assisting them with equipment set up, modifying exercise programs, answering questions, scheduling appointments, and everything in between!  NCCA recognized fitness certification and/or degree in related field required.  Morning, Evenings and Weekend availability a must.

Current hours needed are:  
4:30am - 11:30am Tues, Wed and Fri mornings 
3:30pm - 9:00pm Monday - Fri
7am - 1pm Saturday
8am - 1pm Sunday

Personal Trainers/Fitness Specialists

Now accepting applications for Personal Trainers/Fitness Specialists.  Must be outgoing. Must have NCCA accredited certification (NSCA, NASM, ACE or ACSM) or a Bachelors Degree in an exercise-related field.  Mornings, Evenings and Weekend availability a must.

Group Fitness Instructors

Now accepting applications for Aquatic instructors for Monday or Wednesday evenings 7pm. Also occasional class coverage needs for both evening and morning classes.

The Works is looking for friendly and outgoing staff with enthusiasm for children's programming. You will need experience in supervising school aged children and CPR/First Aid. The hours are 3pm - 6pm Monday thru Friday.

We have openings for Red Cross certified Water Safety Instructor! New sessions are starting after Labor Day and we need you!! 

Evenings until 6 and weekend mornings. Some mid-day shifts available, as well.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self motivated individual with the ability to interact with people at all levels within the organization. The right candidate will need to have a broad and general knowledge of facility maintenance in order to create an optimal and safe environment for the employees, members and visitors of the seacoast's largest health club.

The right candidate for this position needs to be experienced in the following areas:

Ø Basic plumbing

Ø Basic sheetrock

Ø Good mechanical aptitude required

Ø Experience in pools, filtration , heating and pump motors a plus

Director of Business Operations THE WORKS HEALTH AND FITNESS CENTER

This position will be responsible for consistent and effective oversight, and operations of all financial operations of The Works. Responsible for the

development and the effective implementation, and ongoing management, of a plan for the delivery of exceptional customer service and

consistent quality operations of the The Works including front desk operations, environmental services, and facility maintenance.

Responsible for the development, the effective implementation, and ongoing management of a plan for the ongoing quality operations

of club management software and IT services that support the mission and financial margin of The Works. Responsible for developing,

implementing, and maintaining a business strategy, to be approved by WDH Finance and The Works Core Management Team, which

provides operational and financial club metrics and analytics as compared to IHRSA, MFA, WDH, and other worthy comparisons.


Experience: A minimum of five year’s experience with leading an exempt classified management team in a high end quality

health club or resort setting, and managing business office operations.

A minimum of five years of P&L experience, accounting, business office experience, IT experience, and advanced skill level with Microsoft Excel.

Education: B.A. degree in business or related field

Skills: Experience as a super user with Club management software. Also advanced skill level with Microsoft Excel.

Licensure:  CPR
